As prom season nears closer, students are fretting over what to wear. Girls are trying to find their perfect dress, and the boys are busy thinking of creative ways to ask them and then matching their ties with the dress. Prom is all about what people will look like, and a lot of planning and preparation goes into just that.
Dresses and tuxes begin to enter stores; ads are seen everywhere, and girls are starting to post their final decisions on Facebook, simply so nobody else will copy them. Time goes into every little detail in order to make a person’s perfect prom look.
This year at Myth, I saw many different looks. Boys were in white, black, or even grey. Something a little different was that they were mostly in a classy bowtie, which may have been simply to match Gatsby, but despite that they all looked quite charming. As for the ladies, I saw a lot of Gatsby type dresses, but everyone still went their own way. Black seemed to be a popular color on the dance floor, along with many other color of course. The glitz seemed to be toned down quite a bit this year, leaving more a chic, classy look.
No matter what the style this year was for each person, everyone looked absolutely stunning!
